Other title: Phase transformations in the reaction system Ti-Ni-Mo [Parallel title]Subject(s): Online resources: Click here to access online In: С. 58-60Abstract: The aim of this work is to study the phase states in the Ti - Ni - Mo powder ternary system. Experimental porous TiNiMo alloys with different concentrations of molybdenum additives x (Mo) = 0; 1; 15; 30 at. % were obtained. It was found that different concentration of Mo additive significantly changes the sintering temperature due to different modes of alloy formation based on binary systems Ti - Ni and Mo - Ni. Due to the high heterogeneity of the chemical composition, reaction cells of various configurations are formed on the basis of Ti2Ni, TiNi, TiNi3, Ti2Ni3, Ti3Ni4, MoNi, MoNi3, Ti, Ni, Mo and solid solutions of variable composition (Ti, Ni, Mo). In materials with the addition of 1 at. % Mo alloying element is distributed in all phases of the reaction system as a substitutional impurity. In materials with the addition of 15 at. % Mo found intermetallic phases based on Mo. Additive 30 at. % Mo leads to the formation of a large amount of melt due to the heat of exothermic reactions of the formation of intermetallic compounds of the Ni - Mo system, with a qualitative change in the process of alloy formation.
