P. 020010-1-020010-5Abstract: The effect of the deformation process of the high-temperature synthesis product on the formation of the grain structure and the microhardness of the Ni3Al intermetallic compound attributable to the structure was investigated in this work. It was found that the grain size and microhardness in the synthesized Ni3Al intermetallic compound substantially depend on the amount of deformation, in this case, determined by the value of the maximum displacement of the press plunger. The obtained regularities allow us to assert the promising of applying this technology in the manufacturing of intermetallic alloys with a microsized grain structure.
