Монография посвящена архитектуре общественных пространств которые понимаются как пространства социальной активности и классифицируются по различным признакам. В книге на примерах новейшей отечественной и зарубежной архитектуры рассматриваются открытые городские пространства и закрытые пространства общественных зданий и комплексов а также промежуточные пространства. Исследуется тема адресата архитектуры жизнеспособности общественных пространств функционального потенциала места. Отдельная глава посвящена эволюции общественных пространств исторических поселений. Текст сопровождается авторскими фотографиями целый ряд из которых публикуется впервые. The monographic is dedicated to the architectural formation of a public spaces which is understood as a space of social activity and is classified according to various features. The author expresses the idea that viability of the public space is directly related to the theme of its user or customer because as we know only a structure relevant for people can withstand the test of time. The monographic includes examples of domestic and foreign architecture of open urban and rural spaces of public centers and landscape-recreational areas; indoor spaces of public buildings and complexes as well as an intermediate space. The author explores the theme of the recipient of architecture and viability of public spaces the functional potential of the place. A separate Chapter is devoted to the evolution of public spaces of historical settlements. The text is accompanied by photos made by the author the majority of which has been published for the first time.
